About NMBHGC
line

The New Mexico Big Horn Gun Club (NMBHGC) was founded by several local black powder shooters in 1977. The club is a non-profit corporation, and is NRA affiliated. Club membership is open to the public, and new members are always welcomed. Our members come from all surrounding communities, including Edgewood, Moriarty, Tijeras, and Albuquerque.

The purpose of the NMBHGC is to promote the shooting sports and to provide safe range facilities for the enjoyment of its membership. The club sponsors various special events and activities throughout the year, including it's annual black powder rendezvous, "The Cache Le Plew," and Cowboy Action and Sporting Clay shoots during the warmer months.

Range Trash Policy Club members should carry out all items that they bring to the range; refuse such as targets, clay boxes, bottles, etc should not be placed in the trash barrel. There is no trash "service" at the range - the barrel is emptied by volunteers.
